Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the auction will run from 7 PM until 10:00 PM
Glamour diva and community activist Trai La Trash keeping the evening moving. This year, Leather Pride Night will donate the 2007 Auction proceeds to The National Council for Sexual Freedom, God's Love We Deliver, Ali Forney Center, Leather Archives & Museum, and, as is customary, an annual donation to Heritage of Pride, the producer of New York's annual Pride March.

The venue is Splash, located at 50 W. 17th Street.

Baby Needs a New Pair of Shoes

Hell, I hate being called baby, but I sure do LOVE shoes. So what does a Domina do when the pollen count skyrockets and forces Her to seek the filtered air of Her lovely apartment? She shops on line! The pollen count best fall soon, or My credit cards will spontaneously combust!

This week has been marked by some new dresses, a shorts set, several sets of bras and panties, and 7 new pairs of shoes (a few for Me and some for play)! I wish I could say that My shopping is complete for the season, but alas, tomorrow I'll be ordering a vintage style nurses uniform. Then there is the matter of more stocking from Secrets in Lace and the perfect garter belt for that nurse's uniform!

Of course, with all those new toe baring shoes, I'll just have to get pedicures even more often -- > Lucky Me!

While I am a diva, I am not a Domestic Goddess. Sure, I am a hell of a cook, I can sew and can plan the perfect dinner party, but My cleaning will never get me into Good Housekeeping. Perhaps to be more precise, the house isn't dirty, just very cluttered and disorganized.

Where is My spring weather?

Okay, where is spring and My warm weather. Mother Nature is not cooperating and may even to be conspiring against me in order to force my toes back into hiding. So, in a defiant mood today, I treated myself to a "Master" pedicure and had them paint my toes red! If you're a fan, have read my blog or viewed my website you probably know that I am totally loyal to french manicures and matching pedicures. That's right, despite desperate pleas from my foot fans, I never do red. Well, never say never.

While science may disagree, I believe the spring "toe" obsession is virtually hard coded on the female DNA. Along with a new Easter bonnet, every young girl looked forward to a new pair of shoes to complete that special Easter ensemble. You can bet the farm, with absolute certainty, that from the time I was old enough to have ANY input in the matter, I opted for any style shoe that set my toes free.

The shoe pictured here, is the one I'll be sporting this Sunday. These BCBGirls "Lacey" Slingbacks were a gift - a gift that causes the warm fuzzys every time I see them. The clean line of a the sling back is sexy and sophisticated; a timeless classic. These beauties were the inspiration for my red polish rebellion.

So Sunday, no matter how cold, I'll be in my Easter Bonnet and my red toes will be on display!!

Spring Tease

Warm weather elicits difference responses from people; few are immune to it's pull. For me the return of the warm weather means my toes will be freed from the bonds of shoes. As soon as the firm glimps of warmth appeared, I went shoe shopping. New summer sandals. Pretty jeweled thongs. Perhaps I'll try some of the new wedge heels in a summer staw. Either way, it means even more frequent pedicures.

As if My shoe fetish needed further fuel, a series of TV commericals have caught my attnetion. Try this one if you love the look of women in heels! The one from Macy's that I've seen on TV is also great but I can't find it on line.

Fetish Party Scene

According to The Baroness, "any occasion to dress is an occasion to overdress". So last Sunday I ventured downtown to check out Her monthly Fetish Review. I was decked out in a stunning purple latex suit by Vex Clothing and dangerously high platform shoes to see what the NY fetish community considered "couture". I found a few deliciously clad latex divas, sporting ensembles that could bring out the green-eyed envy monster in us all, but in general the fashion part of the evening was disappointing. What made the night well worth My time were the people.

Tonight I'll venture out to the monthly Byte party. I'll be sporting a new made-to-order wardrobe piece - this time in leather. Daringly short and made to show off those vintage stockings so many of you are fond of, this piece isn't for the shy! It's more open bottom girdle than skirt with a short zippered front and lacing up the back like a corset; paired with a thong, it's the perfect piece to show off my lovely full backside. More than a bit too risque to wear out in public, well covered by a trench coat the vanilla world will be none the wiser enroute to the event and once safely inside, the Byte crowd will be treated to a nice view of the Mistress's rear end . Topping off the ensemble is a delightful new corset, perfect for my tight lacing tendencies. This handsomely finished, double-boned corset was designed by Shane Aaron. If you haven't seen his pieces, check them out at Purple Passion - they are worth every penny!!! I now have two of his corsets and know they are only the beginning of my collection from him. And of course no outfit is complete without sinful shoes! A simple 8" platform black leather mule is the perfect accessory to show off the lovely Cuban heel of those Dita Van Tesse inspired hose.
